Waltz of Doom [Original Poem]

Waltz of Doom

Waltz of doom and rising tide
from the decaying ruins of our cities.

Weeping in the rain and mourning the broken
in this world, I stand here unspoken
on my knees in front of these idols,
mirror weeping statues, cities stand idle.
This is how it started, for day one,
Miracle misfortune mirror streets of Armageddon.

The Anatomy of a storm: surge, winds, water, and form.
The Anatomy of a storm: surge, winds, water, and form.

Waltz of doom and rising tide
from the decaying ruins of our cities.
Waltz of doom and rising tide
from the decaying ruins of our cities.

Tremors felt by all, a life and death experience enthralls
The most powerful winds stand as a mighty wall, as such a mighty fate to befall
with floods causing panic and disorder all around
crushed by surge, fate unbound

Waltz of doom and rising tide
from the decaying ruins of our cities.
Waltz of doom and rising tide
from the decaying ruins of our cities.
