‘L’Auberge ensorcelée’ [The Bewitched Inn, 1897] Directed by Georges Méliès

Another short silent by Georges Méliès, The Bewitched Inn is still pretty funny today.  However, imagine you’re alive in 1897, and you’ve never seen moving picture before.  Chances are, it would amplify the experience.  You probably wouldn’t be bored to tears anyway.  It’s a charming little movie, isn’t it?
